Congratulation to Fion Lee for Winning the iPad mini Draw
Please join us to congratulate Fion Lee for winning the iPad mini draw. Fion is a senior student in the Kinesiology program at University of Toronto - St. George Campus. We would like to thank all students who have visited the TSTCM booth during the 2013 Graduate and Professional Schools Fair at various Ontario Universities.
Practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (TCMA) has become regulated since April 1, 2013 in Ontario. The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) was established under the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA), 1991 and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Act (TCM Act), 2006 to ensure the public has access to safe, competent and ethical services from qualified traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) professionals. The new regulation will dramatically stimulate the use of acupuncture and TCM and make the acupuncture and TCM service more accessible to Ontarians through a wide range of insurance coverage. Acupuncture and TCM have been primary healthcare in a number of Asian Countries and have already become primary healthcare for several states (e.g. California) in USA. As powerful and widely used medicine TCM and acupuncture will continue to attract more and more talented young people into this fascinating and rewarding profession. The day that majority people use acupuncture and TCM in their healthcare is within our sight.
TSTCM president Mary Wu presented iPad Mini to the draw Winner: Fion Lee, on October 30, 2013.
