TSTCM is prepared for the upcoming regulation

July 2005

Dr. Mary Wu was invited to speak at the news conference representing Ontario TCM practitioners and educators.

“I am glad to witness the announcement from Minister Smitherman that Ontario is closer to regulating Traditional Chinese Medicine and that Ontarians are one step closer today to being assured that the treatment they receive will be provided by qualified and competent practitioners who are accountable to a governing body. The McGuinty government should be commended for taking that step forward.”

“With regulation, practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine will be recognized as a formal health care profession and it will make people less skeptical and more confident to the safety and effectiveness of the medicine and to the practitioners.”

Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine is at the forefront for excellence in education and is well prepared for the upcoming regulation.
