TCM Treatments
While courses in TCM theory, acupuncture, and herbal medicine teach students the basic concepts, Department of TCM Treatments' courses provide students with clinical knowledge of diagnosis, differentiation and treatment of various diseases through the study of internal medicine, external medicine, gynecology and TCM pediatrics. In these courses, students learn how to diagnose diseases and their patterns using the theories they learned from TCM foundations and diagnostics, as well as both herbal and acupuncture treatments for those patterns of disease. Through the study of these courses, students gain a solid foundation for clinical practice. Prerequisite for all courses in this department: TCM Theory IV, Acupuncture VI, Herbal Medicine V.
