Course Name: Pain Management

Course Code: 1009

Course Description: Pain is one of the most common symptoms, which can be debilitating. TCM provide safe and effective treatments to both acute and chronic pain. This course covers the etiopathology of pain including endorphin theory, the diagnosis and treatment of pain from both TCM western medical aspects. The focus of this course is on the differentiation and treatment of pain using acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and tuina. Current research of pain and TCM will also be covered.
