Course Description: This course briefly introduces the etiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatments of diseases from western medical aspect, with an emphasis on most common and critical diseases commonly treated by TCMA practitioners in the departments of internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, dermatology and otolaryngology. It provides students with the knowledge and ability to identify critical and serious conditions where immediate actions and referrals are needed, and for inter professional collaborations for safer and more effective integrated health care of the patients.
